“A question of time and movement”<\/strong>

Objects, painting and photography were the media for Christel Dillbohner’s expansive discourse at kampstogether.<\/p>\n

Christel Dillbohner describes her artistic work as visual research in which playful trial and error, surprising discoveries and artistic realization go hand in hand. The studio became a laboratory for the development of ideas.<\/p>\n

For Christel Dillbohner, the interplay between experiencing and creating worlds is the overarching theme of her now 40-year artistic practice. Following detours and direct paths, she has repeatedly encountered junctions and interfaces that oscillate between the realms of environment, history, and personal experience.<\/p>\n

Christel Dillbohner’s starting point for her residency at kampstogether was works on paper, assemblages, and a series of digital photographs (2004 – 2013). Added to this were a floor and a wall installation, as well as various objects that she had collected on tours of Kalk and incorporated into the presentation in her idiosyncratic way.<\/p>\n

She set herself the task of taking stock of the visible things and visually records the mental associations and links that arose in this process. Her work goal: the surveying of a poetic world with visual means. Further information: www.dillbohner.de<\/a><\/p>\n\n\t\t\t
